(YMAS book 2) Laura is now leaving her teenage years behind, as she moves into her twenties. But this change isn't the only one she experiences as once again Laura has to deal with more drama in her life as well as the fact that her family are having a hard time back home in Smethwick. At least she's with You Me At Six on their 2012 tour, but even though travelling all around the country is fun, this isn't exactly the best thing that could happen consiering the circumstances. Just how much can a twenty-year old take before she reaches breaking point?

The title is a lie. Band geeks WILL hurt you. The case in point, of course, is the Cooperstown High School Marching Band, better known as the Black Parade. The administration at the high school isn't exactly known for its intelligence, so they have an annual tradition of sending the one hundred and fifty members of the Black Parade to band camp in Battery City for three days. At first, this year's band camp was just like every other year. The trumpets and the saxophones still hated each other, the freshmen still couldn't march correctly, Pete Wentz was still eating all of the pizza in the cafeteria, and Gerard Way was still trying to convince everyone that "saxy" was a real word. But things didn't stay normal for long. Told from ten different perspectives, this is the story of what happened that fateful year at band camp. Basically just one giant messy bandom AU. There's not really much to explain about this book... The title really says it all, it's just song lyrics (fortunately no shit...) Along with probably dome other stuff, there'll be a bunch of Disney, Neveshoutnever, 5Sos, Paramore, maybe Fun., maybe OMAM lyrics, and also One Direction. (I'm a Directioner. There will be 1D lyrics. Deal with it.)

With a past as painful as hers, Nott steps into Dessie's life and turns it upside down. Her life had already been upside down, so Nott mended her bleeding heart and made her believe in love and trust. But it wasn't over yet, and when her past threatens her future and her barely healed heart, decisions must be made by all involved. Carrie is engaged, Dess is in love, and they are finally getting back on their feet when their love and faith are tested with reappearances of those once closest to their heart. Deceit, pain, longing, tears, lust, fear, love. Some lies are better of believed, and some doors are better off locked. Follow Dess, Nott, Carrie, Phil, and others through the fear, laughter, uncertainty, love, doubt, lust and friendship that, luckily or not, comes with being human.
