I have never felt such a heart-numbing fear like I did last night, I have never felt like prey before in my life and I will forever be haunted by this feeling for the rest of time. I live in the city so I have never thought something like this could happen in my own backyard, but it did and now I am just waiting for it to come back.

Red is forbidden. Red is a marking of the werewolf's lover. Rienne doesn't believe in her grandma's myths. She never has and took it as a nice bed time story. She was raised in the city and arrives back to the village because she was expelled from her old school defending a couple of her friends. When she arrives back wearing red, all mouths drop and threats are made. Love doesn't choose it's victims by appearance or-race. Rienne refuses to stop wearing red just because of a stupid myth and accidently challenges the wolf doing so. The werewolf isn't pleased and takes away everything precious to her. Yet, he doesn't kill her, not even daring to lay one paw to harm her. Is this love or is this madness?
