Wilhelmina Ashlyn Patterson, better known as Wil Patterson, is in a sense a psychic. But she is also diagnosed with mild Paranoid Schizophrenia, so for the first twelve years of her life she believed any of the people she saw were just delusions. But when she tells her psychiatrist and doctor things only his dead wife knew, she is told she has special abilities. So for the next five years she assists everything from the police to the FBI with crimes. So when she is requested by the FBI to investigate a suspected kidnapping of a powerful politician, who is trying to pass a bill that gives psychics equal rights with everyone else, Wil decides to bring the psychic community onto the case. So when Seth Raiden, a fellow psychic not only offered her help but a conspiracy theory that shakes the bedrock of her beliefs, Wil wonders if all she knows is true and begins to wonder if what she's seeming is real or not. All while juggling taking her medication, trying to find Senator Abener, Wil has to deal with the spirits getting stronger and stronger. The real question is can she do it?

Grief has a way of distorting reality, weaving illusions that blur the line between what is and what was. But how deeply can it truly scar the mind of the living? *** GeminiFourth one shot; Please keep in mind that this story is a work of fiction. That does not accurately depict people in their real lives. It is purely for entertainment purposes. The story was based on/inspired by the tragedy of Olga Chardymova from the early 2000s.
