Emil West is your average 16-year-old girl. Goes to school, hangs with friends, talks to a ghost. Like any normal teen. On prom night, Emil's best friend, Lydia, went outside to get some 'fresh air' only to get hit by a car a few moments later. She was rushed to the hospital only to be pronounced dead two hours later. Now Emil has to deal with the death of her best friend through the whole school year. Also, she can see her best friend, along with a million other peoples ghosts. Now she has to find her best friends killer, with the help of Lydia's brother and guy best friend, so she can go to heaven along with the other ghost.
