my first story

Shauna is shot in the back. The bullet hits her spinal cord. She is diagnosed with paraplegia - paralysis from the waist down. Her world falls apart. And she's not sure if she can ever make the pieces fit together again. This is a special story for International Spinal Cord Injury Day. This time, it's NOT a one-shot, instead, it will be a short story, spanning six chapters. And this time, I dedicate it to the people out there who have to live with spinal cord injuries. They're some of the strongest of us all.

Emily is your average, ordinary everyday paraplegic, living in a super powered world. She's made her life a success without having powers like her family. But when an accident causes her to develop powers, she has to come to terms with a new way of living. (This is a drama. There is a little action, but it's mostly about emotional growth and relationships.)
