It's called pareidolia, where you see faces in inanimate objects, except the faces I see talk. The faces in the trees, the walls, the ceiling - they talk to me. Sometimes I hear whispers in the dark and I know there's a face hiding in the bookshelves. They're under the couch, in the carpet, whispering - snickering.

Jungwon has always seen faces where none exist. It's a harmless psychological quirk, or so he thought. But after a brief encounter with a stranger at a psychiatrist's clinic, the same face starts appearing in places it shouldn't. In glass. In rain. In the corners of empty rooms. And the more Jungwon tries to ignore it, the more it seems to be looking back.
