Lin is an ordinary thirteen-year-old girl living in a quiet little village. She plays outside, does her chores, and makes apple pies when the season is right. Until suddenly she isn't. Three years of her life go missing without a trace; and, now a ten-year- old girl again, Lin sets out on a journery that'll lead to answers without questions and shoes that she doesn't think she'll ever be able to fill. -- Or: she's got a sword and she's got a princess to protect and she is just absolutely covered in mud.
