Anderson Rule (n.) - To protect those closest to you; to act with humility, respect, and accountability; to control your emotions and never let anyone take you out of character; be a leader, not a follower
Zayn Strickland Anderson is facing his toughest years yet. Since entering high school he's succumb to peer pressure and as a dual athlete (baseball/basketball) he's become a total jock, or as his cousins say, a jerk. He's become a rebel, resistant to the rules and disrespectful to his elders.
While he's always a temper, he's been able to take redirection. Now? He fights back. The Anderson rule, the code his father has taught him to live by means nothing to him. He lives by his own code of doing whatever he wants.
It's reaching a breaking point that leads him to alienation and hurt towards others, including his best friend Mia. Will his parents be able to help him before it's too late or will he lose all the relationships he's built, for good?
