After a terrible accident, she has to face the world by herself and is terribly lonely. She comes across a guy who happens to meet her by mistake again and again. Xander Cloud who was 15 at the time of both his parents death, having witnessed the murder that had occurred refuses to believe it, refuses to speak about it, refuses to listen. Now being 20 years old, he hasn't spoken a word to anyone since the death, not to any family, friends, not even the police. He just went with motions and moved through his life, dead other then that until one day when everything, his motions in life came to a halt. . . Hailey and her mother have been inseparable since her father death a couple of years ago. Hailey worships the very ground her mother walks on. She wants nothing more than to grow up and be exactly like her. They're very well off, able to afford everything they need, and much more on top of that. Even though neither of them work Hailey has never wondered where there wealth comes from. Until she come home early one afternoon and realizes the women she has been trying so hard to model, is nothing like who she wants to be.

Yoake (Dawn in english) a girl who lost her parents 3 years before the over 50 meter talk titan broke open the city. She feels deep depression, but after seeing Eren loose his mom, she couldn't anymore. She won't let more parents die to those beasts, and certainly won't let any other children fall into this state. She goes to help Eren and Mikasa after first hand witnessing his mother's death.

After what unfolded at Bronze Brew, Parker and Astrid both question the status of the rocky friendship they share. The one they have attempted to reconcile after being separated for so many years. This task is proving to be way more emotionally challenging than they could've imagined. However, when Astrid asks to meet up with them and ask for a complicated favor, Parker knows they don't have it in them to refuse. The very thought of watching her suffer alone through something so trivial makes them realize they will always want to be there to help her out when she needs them. This helps give them some guidance for their complicated relationship. Because it's clearly something they both cherish and don't want to see go down in flames. Throughout this book, we also see what challenges the rest of the Riveras are going through without Parker there. This book also will explore Angie's background as she struggles with her sense of belonging. TW: Teen suicide/suicidal thoughts mentioned as well as hints toward cyberbullying. This story also explores disturbing and difficult themes such as homophobia, racism, and grief.
