This is a little story that I had to write for my mythology class. We had to take a myth and convert it to something modern. I chose the myth of Ceyx and Alcyone, they were two lovers but Ceyx had to go to war and when he died his body washed ashore where Alcyone found it. she lost herself to despair, a god took pity on her and turned both Alcyone and Ceyx into birds and they flew away together. I converted the story into one of a zombie apocalypse. Its not very long but I was proud of it and felt like sharing so here it is. I hope you like it.
