Inkedwounds
I didn't say it enough - maybe not at all.
Not to the people who stayed.
Not to the moments that saved me.
Not even to myself.
This is a collection of all the unspoken thank-yous:
To Papa, whose silence felt safer than words.
To Mumma, whose tired hands tucked in my entire world.
To the little things -
the cold coffee, the tight hugs, the soft smiles I used to overlook.
These poems are not loud.
They don't beg for attention.
They sit quietly in the corner of a full heart,
whispering the words I should've said a long time ago.
"Everything I Never Thanked You For"
is for the ones we forget to appreciate until it's too late.
It's for the love that didn't need grand gestures -
just presence.
If your heart holds a gratitude you never put into words,
this story might feel like coming home.
