peter is adopted by tony stark after aunt may is shot at a deli. this is set juring the civil war and iron man is hard pressed about findi g whatever hero he can find, incliding spiderman. mean while spiderman eats all of tony's chips and asks random avengers and xmen to help him with his home work. dieing inside bc no one would believe him if he told his classmates this not only bc its unbelieveable but also bc they think that he is a patholicic liar.

Really, he should have expected this. It was just his Parker Luck™ that his year's senior field trip turned out to be the literal worst place he could think of. Peter had always hated going on field trips. They never turned out good for him (read: the spider bite at Oscorp and a literal alien invasion that had him in trouble with his school for weeks when he couldn't tell them where he'd run off to during his Decathlon tournament,) but this one would be the most disastrous for one reason and one reason only. They were going to Stark Industries.

"Peter wets his lips, looking away from Tony as if trying to delay the answer. His leg bounces. He exhales stiffly. His nails dig into his knee before he finally asks, voice neutral yet flat, 'How much do you know about my parents?'" AKA: Peter's mom reaches out. This isn't a good thing.

Tony Stark had lost his son when he was only 2 years old, stolen away in broad daylight. Years later, his path crosses with that of a particular vigilante. They are strangers to each other, or so they think. Tony has just made it through the disaster with Ultron. He is trying to keep himself and the team together but relationships are strained and tempers are running high. Peter Parker is on top of the world. After a few shitty years, losing his parents and then losing his Uncle, things are finally looking up. Sure he lives in a crappy little apartment with his Aunt but he might have just found his mission in life. ------ This is an AU story obvious by some of the tags. I'm starting out a few weeks after Age of Ultron took place. Civil War will be a thing. Other than that I'm not too concerned about sticking to every canon detail and storyline.

After the war Harry goes to Gringotts to deal with the consequences of robbing the bank. There he meets his account manager for the first time and learns several secrets that have been kept from him including his biological father's identity. In typical Harry Potter fashion he ignores the world changing news until he can't any longer. Accompanied by his newly adopted son Teddy and his best friend George, Harry moves to New York with the goal of letting his father know exists and possibly forming a relationship with the man.
