We heard footsteps sneaking at every corner and little giggles. It was as though the sisters at the end of the hallway were yet to put out their lantern. I wasn't always the type to take the lead and hold the lantern but no one else agreed to do it. " Madeline dear, I don't think it's the sisters." said Denise. After what happened to Sister Ann, I don't think the rumors about the so called evil demons are tales by night. I had just turned to my left and immediately I did the lantern went off. There was no breeze, no nothing. I couldn't afford to make a noise so I didn't drop the lantern out of fear. We held each other by the arm with our hearts beating fast.
