When 21 year-old Selene Hills goes to Rome to study abroad and immerse herself in the culture of Italy, she meets Greyson Rocco Harper, or as she calls him, Rocco. Selene becomes interested in him and seeks a romantic relationship. Rocco, however, has another way of expressing true love, by denying his lover his own love. Selene wonders how Rocco can live without a girlfriend, much less a crush.
