Paris, 1984. A city of neon lights, cigarette smoke, and analog dreams.
Clara is a wide-eyed photographer from New York, chasing the perfect light with nothing but a Leica camera and a one-way ticket. Julian is a cynical British painter who has spent too many nights staring at empty canvases in his cramped Montmartre studio.
When a sudden November rainstorm brings them together under the green awning of Gare du Nord, a chance encounter turns into a whirlwind journey through the hidden corners of the City of Light.
From the smoky jazz clubs of the Left Bank to the rain-slicked cobblestones of Le Marais, they discover that while art is their passion, each other might be their muse.
But in a decade of rapid change and fleeting moments, can a romance caught on film ever develop into something permanent? Or will they remain just two strangers who shared a velvet hour in Paris?
