Park bench, it's a silly thing really. Basing a love story off of a stupid old park bench. But then again it holds the memories I never could. It holds the only past I could redeem. We met at the park bench, me and him, Katie and Ashton. They told us we would make it, we would change the world and make everyone who lost love believe in it again. I believed it, he believed it, we believed it. Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself. This is a love story about a shy, awkward girl who met an outgoing, funny boy and they had the perfect love story. Just like the movies. But just like the movies there is a tragedy. Just like the movies there is a loss. Just like the movie there is an ending, there is always an ending. But who am I kidding? It was just a park bench. Park bench, a silly thing, isn't it?

Proof of his greatness.

The Bench follows a narrator drawn again and again to a quiet park seat, compelled by a dream and an unshakable sense of yearning. Days turn into weeks, and still the pull remains-until one day, a familiar figure appears, and the unspoken weight between them comes to light. A tender, timeless short story about memory, waiting, and the spaces where silence speaks.

A poem, originally written as spoken word, on the simplicity of kindness. More poems may be slowly added, but this poem can stand on it's own and was even meant to be a stand alone before I got new ideas, so enjoy! Cover by @NuagesEtLune

Bea Aspen's uneventful and unexciting high school life gets turned upside down when she finally, after six years of trying, catches the attention of her stereotypically popular asshole of a crush. But as most stories go, what she got may not have been what she was expecting after all. And yet, the more she learns about Andy Mason, the more she learns about the people around her, about her small town, and even about her own family. And maybe, just maybe, in her seventh year of loving Andy, maybe she'll finally be able to learn things about herself she never knew were true. This is a coming-of-age story in which everyone isn't perfect, but maybe high school is just the perfect time to be flawed.

He was gone when she needed him most, how could she forgive him? This is what goes through Fayre Luera's head when her childhood friend shows up at their special spot after leaving for eight years. He's still her Lion; still the boy with golden locks and sparkling eyes, but she's still a broken girl, and the emotions when she sees him standing there are indescribable. Leo Widner has his own problems. He didn't want to leave his Fairy behind all those years ago, but he had no other choices. After seeing Fayre after all of those years, all he wants to do is hold her and tell her why he left her; tell her all of his secrets, but he's embarrassed, and can't bring himself to speak those words. And as if things could get worse, his crush on his best friend he thought would be gone by now, is still definitely there, stronger than ever. She's still as beautiful as she was before, if not ten times more, and he can't deny that. Can Fayre open up to Leo and forgive? Can Leo fess up and tell her why he left? And will their friendship be mended and maybe even be turned into more?

"Well, when you feel too many bad things at once, you just start to feel nothing at all." ---------- It was always the same. The same bench, the same time, the same overwhelming sense of emptiness in my chest. That was, up until he started showing up. ---------- "You make me... better." --------------------- Warnings: Mentions of: abusive relationships, emotional abuse Depictions of: heavy subjects, bullying/verbal abuse, anxiety, homophobia (Warnings will update as more chapters are added) *****Pay attention to the dates! They sometimes go back and forth a bit, which can make it confusing. I overlooked this while writing and forgot to include things like times, so it gets sort of difficult to understand when it jumps from the end of a day to the beginning. Sorry about this!!*****
