Jang Hari is walking the line between continuing her competitive archery and root for the national team still or finally giving up on it and just becoming a regular student in her last year as a senior at Hyosan. However, deciding to do so wouldn't do her well especially when all her parents care about is her athletic student career. While taking a break, she needed a cover-up for her original timetable and perhaps just a little bit of a distraction. And a certain struggling senior student lit her cigarette up from the next cubicle after hearing Hari cry about her frustrations. Park Mijin might just be the one she's looking for. Or in other words, an AU where Mijin and Hari meet in a less thrilling way, but find themselves looking out after each other, minus the zombies. Cross-posted on AO3.

She backed away, turning to run toward the stairs, but even the stairs were filled with students and definitely a few infected. In the chaos she felt herself get shoved against a locker. "Hey, watch it!" she yelled out, but no one listened. She quickly went back towards the staircase as she bumped into someone. "Mi-jin noona?" " Is that you?" She quickly whipped around at the familiar voice. Han Gyeong-su, her neighbour, childhood friend- whatever you want to call it- was standing there wide-eyed, she noticed the two anxious juniors behind him. "Gyeong-su?" ---- Instead of hiding in the bathroom mi-jin runs into gyeong-su and his friends.

Cracking bones. A wave of light. A gym ceiling. And then, biggest of all: a rush of sound so frightening and unexpected that Joon-yeong shoots up with a strangled cry. The zombies instantly turn in his direction, but Joon-yeong can't move. Why can he still think? Why is he thinking rationally? 'Shouldn't I be dead?' But the thing is, he's not. He's *not* dead. - When Oh Joonyeong is bitten trying to save Park Mijin, everything seems lost until he somehow wakes up again.
