It's been 365 days since Queen Estelle Charlotte Anne, house of Belleville, Queen Estelle the 2nd of Sollarine, died due worsening health conditions. It has been 365 days since my grandmother died. It has been 375 days since Grandmother gave me a brooch and a tiara as her parting gift from the world. And today is the first day they're both missing. My sister scoffs. "Don't be angry?! You lost the two pieces of the royal collection. How could we not be angry with you!" Okay I'm usually not an angry person but she is making me seriously want to bring out my inner assassin. Her eyes flare, she steps up to me and slaps me straight across my face. "How dare you speak to me like that! I'm the next Queen, my blood will be on the throne while yours will wither away as years go by. You know, mother or I can take those jewels away in a second. You better start showing me some respect or else." Amalia, this isn't disappointment coming from me. I'm ecstatic that you finally screwed up so big that mother and father can not make excuses for you. Hell, I bet even grandmother would be disappointed in you." She spits out. Before I can say anything she continues. "You got the brand new commissioned tiara and brooch from our grandmother. It wasn't for the both of us, it wasn't for the heir to the throne, it was for the spare." She spits the last word with venom in her voice. But yet she's still not done. "I'm the heir to the throne and I didn't get a single gift from her. You were always grandmother, mother and father's favorite. You get the gifts, the praise, you can do whatever the hell you want!"

This book is about the reality of the 'sleeping giant', and the consequence it brings to today's society. 'Waking up the sleeping giant' is a challenge to be taken up by many people. If this giant really wakes up, society will have a chance to experience a breath of fresh air that gives life a worthy cause and a meaningful reason to live. One might ask but who is this sleeping giant? What does this sleeping giant have to offer if upon wakening, the world can be a better place to live in? This sleeping giant can refer to you, to a family member of yours or maybe to some of your friends. The sleeping giant can represent Christians who, although they do good things in their lives, being active in the church and in the community around them, are still not doing God's will in their lives. The sleeping giant can be those of us who in the moment of truth to proclaim the Good News, to be witnesses in society and go against the current, eventually will not stand up as Christians and defend their morals and values. The sleeping giant represents all those who proclaim that they are Christians, but through their lives hardly proclaim the Good News... they are 'lukewarm' in their faith. The aim of this book is to reach out to this sleeping giant and to gently provoke and inspire the giant to wake up.
