Blair Kenny is an expert on all things ice cream. She's had almost every flavour of the frozen treat that exists, can tell her Haagan Dasz from her Ben and Jerrys blindfolded and also has a strong belief that no matter what the occasion, ice cream can and will make you feel better. So when the recently popular-turned-unpopular and antisocial Chris Latimer enters the ice-cream parlor where she works in the dead of winter and orders their chocolate sundae deluxe, then leaves without touching it, she's horrified. Why would somebody order a perfectly good sundae only to leave it? Even if it is winter. The hostile boy continues to come in, order then leave again. Blair is perfectly content to just let him be though. After all, she reckons it's none of her business anyway. But when the angry boy comes to her defense more than once, she decides to make it her business to find out what's making the once friendly boy so bitter and try to fix it. Will he let her though?

Benji Waters wouldn't know hardship if it didn't come in the form of death in Game of Thrones or ADD. Not until it comes in 190 pounds of pure muscle and anger, a bully with the intention of stealing enough money to jumpstart the economy and still have enough to buy lunch. But, Archer Doe swims in hardship and cigarette smoke, his problems coming in his mothers' beer bottles and a prissy pretty boy with a vendetta. Decembers life is ironic. She fell in love and lost him. With her heart in 7 million pieces , she vows that her love had died with her Jason in Iran. My parents are never home. I study my way through weekends. I go to school five days a week and at least spend 20 hours studying. Some might say I waste my time, but it's for the best. My parents think that this way I'll get into a great college. My mother told me once she spent her whole Christmas break studying so that she could make it into Harvard. She didn't regret it and she says neither will I. My father went to Princeton for a few years and after graduating got a job right away. Of course both of my parents came from wealthy families, but that never brought up the idea that they could just pay to get into the college that they wanted. Last year when I told my parents I wanted to become an author and just not go to college, but just to start writing my first novel. My mother laughed and told me, 'Ronnie, you want a career that can actually get you somewhere in life.' My father sat back and told me that no great authors madeas great livings as we have. Obviously, my father has never read great authors. But sadly, this is my story. I am Veroncia Lee Manning and my opinion doesn't matter.
