ANIME DI CARTA Ci sono parole che non nascono per essere lette. Nascono per essere sentite. *Anime di carta* è una raccolta di poesie che attraversa le stagioni dell'essere umano: l'amore e la sua assenza, la nostalgia, la rabbia, la speranza, il tempo che passa, le ferite che imparano a respirare, i ricordi che non chiedono il permesso per tornare e quei silenzi che, a volte, sanno raccontare più di qualsiasi voce. Ogni poesia è un frammento di vita, un pensiero rimasto sveglio nel cuore durante la notte, una carezza, uno schiaffo, una domanda senza risposta. Non segue un percorso preciso, perché nemmeno l'anima lo fa. Si perde, inciampa, ricomincia. Ama. Si rompe. Si ricuce. E continua a cercare un senso tra le pieghe dei giorni. Queste pagine non pretendono di insegnare nulla. Vogliono soltanto fare compagnia. A chi si è sentito invisibile almeno una volta. A chi ha amato troppo. A chi ha perso qualcuno, qualcosa o persino una parte di sé. A chi continua a credere che la sensibilità non sia una debolezza, ma una forma di coraggio. Le poesie raccolte in questo libro parlano con voce diversa, ma hanno la stessa origine: il desiderio di trasformare le emozioni in parole, affinché non vadano perdute. Perché ogni sentimento, anche il più oscuro, merita di essere ascoltato. *Anime di carta* è un luogo dove la fragilità non viene nascosta, ma accolta. Dove ogni verso diventa uno specchio in cui ritrovarsi, anche solo per un istante. Forse, sfogliando queste pagine, incontrerai una poesia che sembrerà parlare proprio di te. O forse scoprirai che, in fondo, le emozioni cambiano nome da persona a persona, ma hanno tutte lo stesso battito. Perché ci sono anime che attraversano il mondo in silenzio. E altre che scelgono di restare tra le pagine di un libro, aspettando soltanto qualcuno disposto ad ascoltarle.

When asked to drive a get-away car, Dizzy "Dismas" Poverello, high school honors graduate and future pre-med, replied, "YOLO, you only live once, man!" He was to die a thousand deaths. The thieves and murderers escaped, but Dismas faced the law. He could have provided evidence, reducing the charges against him, but Darius his brother warned of the horrible consequences for their entire family. After fifteen years, at MCI (Massachusetts Correctional Institution), Cedar Junction, the Parole Board placed Dismas as a grounds keeper at the Midge Avenue Park Zoo (MAPZ). The ex-prisoner quickly developed sympathy for the confined animals. In time, FBI agents convinced Dismas to provide evidence against the bank robbers and participate as part of an undercover trap, with Dismas as the live bait. In spite of the FBI's elaborate plans, the Bureau could not stop the vengeance bound gangsters. Dismas would have been better off at the mercies of the animals, including a cunning and undernourished black bear, a stealthy salivating mountain lion, and a ravenous great white shark, all looking forward to fresh meat. Can an impala, an elephant, and an ostrich save Dismas? The events, the characters, and the names used in Misfitzu are fictional. Any resemblance to person living, deceased, or yet to be born is purely coincidental. The events involving historical characters or places have been fictionalized and do not reflect on the legacy of those individuals or places.
