501 is a patient at Battery City Asylum, living out her days in a memory-less state. Her only friend is Abigail, her nurse for the last two years, seemingly the only person who isn't 'adjusted' to Battery City standards. After escaping Battery City, Poison Fire meets new people, killjoys. She becomes friends with them and ends up helping them on their mission to destroy BL/ind. She meets other killjoys on the way.
