Dipper on the other hand wanted to continue his education and eventually become a detective.

Pasifica Southwest goes back to Gravity Falls with her Cousin Gideon to find the place has changed drastically. She learns about the Place's new Main attraction, the Gravity falls Freak Show, and it's Many dark secrets. When Dipper and Mabel agreed to go to Gravity Falls for the summer, they expected a nice camping trip with their Uncle. What they got was, decidedly, not that. After weirdmageddon, several monsters have gone into hiding. Over the years, most of the left overs have been found and exterminated. Present day, only 20 small groups of monsters live world wide. Heat rises on a group in Piedmont California consisting of a Werewolf, Cervitaur, Uni-centaur, Vampire, Gorgon (not like Medusa), and two Harpies. Forcing them to move. The triplets Dipper Moon and Mabel Pines are sent to spend the summer with their great-uncle, Grunkle Stan, in the mysterious town of Gravity Falls, Ore. Grunkle Stan has the kids help him run The Mystery Shack, the tourist trap that he owns. The triplets try to adapt to the weird surroundings but sense there is something strange about Gravity Falls and begin to unlock its secrets. When Dipper uncovers a cryptic journal that offers insight into the town's mysteries, him Moon and Mabel use it and their enthusiastic desire to vanquish evil to battle the imminent mysteries that surround them.
