A EmiBonnie Fanfiction. Emi Tuazon is a sunshine florist who believes every bouquet tells a love story-even the ones placed on coffins. Bonnie Patricio is a composed, sharp-tongued funeral director who deals with grief, paperwork, and chaos with deadpan calm. They should only meet for business. What starts as clashing personalities turns into late-night deliveries, stolen glances, and tension that refuses to stay professional. Because sometimes love blooms... in the most unexpected place-right next to death. GENRE: Dark Comedy • Sapphic Romcom • Workplace Romance • Opposites Attract • Slow Burn & Steamy Romance

Avery Morgan Hart was never one for relationships ever since she moved away from her boyfriend, Jason, and lost all contact with him. Eventually, a year or so passed and she was finally able to obtain his phone number through some of her old friends. Upon talking to Jason, Avery found out that he didn't consider them "together" anymore and that he had already found another girlfriend. As a result, Avery had given up on guys and crushes, coming to a conclusion that getting involved with guys would only result in heartache. Given what had happened to her, Avery tried to get used to her new hometown of Leighton and attend this new school to get away from all the relationship drama. Avery's main focus then becomes her education, but when she runs into a boy named Sean Brennan, will it stay that way? Or will their "passing by" become more of a collision?

Alfie Monk looks like any other 11-year old boy, other than a slightly odd dress sense and teeth that are badly in need of a dentist. However, as the title suggests, he is actually 1,000-years old: frozen in time through the magic of precious life pearls. He and his mother have managed to live quietly for centuries, but when everything Alfie holds dear is destroyed in a fire, he is forced into the reality of the 21st century for the first time. Determined to bring an end to his endless existence, he sets out on a dangerous mission to find the last life pearl, before it is too late. A truly original read, the plot's twists and turns are anchored by the warmth, courage and humour of its varied characters. Told from the alternate perspectives of Alfie and his new friend Aidan, brought together by the strong and funny Roxy Minto, it thoughtfully explores issues such as grief, bullying, isolation and responsibility.

It seems I am stuck thinking about the old and end of life. Perhaps it is natural as I age myself and the image I have of myself - the inner me- moves farther and farther away from the image the world has of me - the mirror me.

My mom became an angel in February 2018. This was originally just private notes I had written but a friend asked me to publish them saying they might help someone. My goal in this is to help normalize any feelings you might have after death or help you understand what someone feels like after going through a major loss. I also just wanna get my own feelings out there so I can work through them. Please feel free to either message me or just comment telling me your own experiences. Thanks for listening :) (Hi everyone! I know this is worlds away from what I used to write, but I lost interest in writing what I used to. I feel like I should use my writing "skills" to help people. This is my best attempt at that. I hope everyone who reads this can relate to it at some point, because we all go through losses and need ways to cope, and this is mine.)
