I honestly hate this book with every passion of my being, but other people have seemed to like it so... we keep it up. Maya Penelope Hart, Rebel trying to find herself a place in this world, finds herself in a life changing event , with a life changing decision. She's in a love triangle, pulled out right from a silver screen. It would have been easier if the guy she thought she loved, wasn't equally interested in her best friend. Lucas Friar, love triangle ring leader, one night , he's roaming around the city in, well, not the most sober demeanor. Maya goes to his aid, or does she? She realizes that she completely had taken advantage of the 15 year old boy. Fast forward a week days, weeks, and months, shaking, and sick to her stomach, Maya made the assumption that she may be expecting. How will she get the message across without hurting her best friend? With out the father of the baby leaving her? But one thing was sure, no matter what happens, she, Maya Penelope Hart, would never be a mother.
