When the world grows too loud and the memories press in too close, she doesn't run--she shrinks. In regression, she becomes small--soft-spoken, wide-eyed, and easily startled. Words slips away from her, replaced by quiet noises, humming, or clutching onto something familiar. Plushies, blankets, cartoons playing softly in the background--these are her anchors. She finds comfort in routine: snack time, nap time, being reminded gently that she's safe. It's okay to be little. It's okay to need comfort. And it's okay to be loved gently.
