In the time when the world was still pretty young and land that is known today as Japan was ruled by Kings and War Lords, there was a great warrior. He was know as the "Shadow" because of his tendencies to appear and disappear just like a shadow. He protects the daughter, the princess, of his King, keeping to that no harm comes to her. He was part of a group of six warriors who were chosen by the Emperor himself to protect their homeland. Princess Ume Kohaku has a strong will to do what's right even when others say it's a lost cause.
