Jemimah Obalola thought adulthood would be simple. Graduate. Get a good job. Help her family. Build the life she'd always imagined. Instead, she finds herself drowning in debt, surviving one day at a time, and pretending she's okay while her world quietly falls apart. Then she meets Pastor Tobi. He has a reputation to protect. She has a life she's desperate to rebuild. His proposal sounds simple enough: a carefully planned arrangement that could solve both their problems. No feelings. No complications. Just six months. But some lies have a way of becoming real, and some people have a way of changing you long before you realise you're changing. Still Becoming is a slow-burn contemporary Nigerian romance about faith, survival, healing, family, second chances, and discovering that sometimes becoming the person you're meant to be begins with everything falling apart.

Sneak peak snippets: "Please STOP making TikTaks with the supernatural fog that wants to eat us! MB, you're the first one we're going to sacrifice if you don't move!" The kids froze at the sound of Pastor Parks' voice before rushing to grab recording phones off the grocery shelves. "Youth Pastor, um, is this one of those end times signs? Because I know that we've all read the book of Revelations but, um, just wanted to check in?" The way he said it told Pastor Park that he had not in fact read the book of Revelation. The book that they'd been reviewing all month. "You know you have to pay for all the things your youth kids are using, don't yah?" the youth pastor sighed before glaring at the group of boys opening another box of Ding Dongs. "A bunch of ding-dongs for some ding-dongs," the grocery store clerk snickered but tried her best to keep a straight face at the man's look of annoyance. Synopsis: Pastor Park just wanted to get his youth group to their annual winter retreat. Driving thirteen kids ranging in age from 12 all the way up to 24 wouldn't be what he considered the best time of his life. Especially not when they all lacked any semblance of volume control. So you can imagine his ire when forced to stop the van for another bathroom break, a mere 30 minutes from their destination. Kids who didn't even need to use the bathroom pile out of the van, and he watched resignedly before following. Fifteen minutes later while cruising the creepily empty grocery store, he hears the sound of kids screaming and sees an ominous green fog surrounding them with no way out. They never taught him how to handle this kind of stuff in seminary school. One-sentence summary: A youth group, volunteers, and a youth pastor get trapped in a grocery store by a supernatural, ominous green fog. Genres: slice of life, comedy, romance, coming of age, fantasy, christian

Many have gone through this process of discovery before us, and through guidance by Scripture, by the Church, by spiritual visionaries like Pastor Thom O'Leary, we can successfully navigate through these challenges.

Christine was only nine-years-old when her troubled mother, Heather, left suddenly. She was devastated and scared, but had the simple trust of a child in Jesus. Heather had dreams that seemed to disappear the moment she said "I do." She could feel that she was missing something and so she did the hardest thing imaginable: leaving her child. Daniel, a busy pastor, loved his wife and daughter, but he too felt that something was missing in his marriage with Heather. He could sense the troubled waters building up inside of Heather almost as if it were an aura surrounding her. But what could he do? They were both young and naive when they "tied the knot." He was unsure what to say or do around her knowing that one wrong word or action could upset her. And he didn't think God would help him, one lone man in a world full of many others, so he stayed silent. God was not, however, contrary to what both Heather and Daniel thought. God knew each heart and worked night and day to lead and comfort each of them throughout their struggles and mistakes. Step into the world of this family and experience how God leads those who think they have gone too far. Through the sunshine and the rain, God leads His own to love, forgiveness, and hope for tomorrow. This story is dedicated to my family and my God from which came my inspiration. Thank you!
