Is the auditory invasion a nuisance, or is it the singular drop that sets a stagnant superficies aquae rippling in concord? They say, the ringing of anklets, engaged in a lustful gait, have ruined the silent meditation of countless sages; but what if those 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬 invite you to an arcadia, where heavens stoop to spill on earth? If you were a lone wanderer, would you fear the 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐈𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐬... or would you listen close enough to decipher their enigmatic call?

A very simple pastoral poem following two characters, the narrator and the person they are addressing as they engage with the night sky. Ministry. Calling. Pastoral. One of the misconceptions of the world and even me is that when God called you, you should go to Church. So for years, I served God in sharing the gospel at the church and giving gospel tracts at the small community. I continuously did it as my routine until I was brought to a different place by one incident. One day when I woke up I felt there was a sudden change inside of me. I proved it when I was sharing the gospel, everyone around me thought that I am not in the right mind. They all thought I had a disorder. One by one all the people around me turned their backs and I was brought to the mental hospital. I felt the darkness and I even questioned my faith. Is it true or not? I also felt like there is no God . Until one day he called me. It was a whisper but I felt something inside me burning. I did not feel it when I thought I called to go to the Ministry. He wants me to continue sharing the gospel in this institution. I followed Him for years until it was the time I was released. But my calling does not stop and I go to a different institution to do what I was called. I am David and this is my calling.
