History is full of tragedy and mistakes, as is the present. Maybe we can't be faulted for all of it - we don't get the full picture of the past, only sullied scribbles and the oaths of unsavoury men. There exists in another universe a time machine that allows them to see the folly of their ancestors, and I'd like to think that they'd have an answer to madness. Perhaps it's not so alien to the answer we need. But this is all irrelevant. It doesn't take a historian, a time traveller, or any smart man to provide the answer to our worst troubles. Anyone from any walk of life, good and bad, high and low, can tell you what is the fundamental answer to evil. It's an answer that even the youngest can understand in all its many forms, and if they were to ask you for it, you could tell them love, child. A man reincarnates as a dragon in a Fantasy World! However, he doesn't remember much about his past life. Who is he? How did he die? How was his life? He really doesn't care about that anymore since his memories feel distant, and he decides to live fully as a dragon away from humans. However, his plans may change after his life is saved by a human child. Notes: I read a lot of Isekai (reincarnated stories) but I don't plan on using many cliches from that subgenre, my idea is to make something different and fresh.

A child is perplexed with her father's face. She views it as a marble bust with a stoic expression that never wavers. One Christmas, they embark on a trip and she believes she may have found the key to breaking the stone visage.

For me, The Gems Within depicts my own personal highs and lows of being a teenager. Some of you may already know I started writing this book at fourteen as I say throughout my blog. It's not based on a teenager in anyway, neither does it depict moody teenagers moping about. It is an adult novel and should be read by adults. The Gems Within centres on four people; immortal people. They go by the names of Ash (Ashley), Gaia (Gail), Malaya & Monsoon. However; something all joins them, they are immortal. Ash is a Vampire, Gaia is a Fairy, Malaya makes people forget and Monsoon is an Angel. Something else unites these people, they all wear a similar necklace with different gemstones: amber, ruby, emerald and sapphire.This novel shows their daily lives, struggles and events that all unite them. It is not a children's novel, it's adult themes demonstrate real people with real struggles. The book intertwines events we can all relate to and some we cannot. However when it is read, I hope that it will touch the hearts of many and, will leave people contemplating their own lives. I hope that whatever you think of my novel that it will be something that will be sitting on your book shelves five-ten years down the line. (That is if it finds a good home- publisher!) Love, TSITR

This is an acrostic poem, its genre is what I like to term as Philosophical Science and in this case relates to the origin of the universe and the big bang as if it were the conception and birth of a child.

This story was all about the workaholic father and a rebel daughter.
