In a patriarchal society the demands and dreams of a girl are often shattered.. This poem is based on a girl living in such a society who finds poem and pen as the only media for communicating her idea of a free life to world.

Adithi and Akash are a typical Indian couple. They appear to be happy with each other on the outside but in reality that isn't the case. It's incredibly hard to speak out against sexual abuse, especially if it's at the hands of someone you love and trust. Sometimes it might even feel like it's just in your head when it actually isn't. Even though marital rape is still not taken as seriously as other forms of sexual abuse, it is still prevalent.
