16 year old junior Patrick Stump is bullied by everyone, has few friends, and hates everything about school. When he befriends the extremely popular jock Pete Wentz, things start to look up. A cynical Patrick learns some things about Pete he never would've dreamed.

Born and raised in a science lab, when newly hired Scientist, Pete Wentz starts walking into the barely touched lab afraid they'll kill the frail boy, Pete visits the room and talks to Patrick.

Three in the morning isn't a strange time for Pete to be awake. He doesn't expect Patrick to be awake at the same time.

Pete is just a simple guy trapped in his own mind and constantly threatened by his own insecurities. Caged by the ordinary boredom of being a barista in a small town in the middle of fucking nowhere, things didn't look to good for him. Not until he met Patrick of whom he is convinced to be a literal angel. In the actual hell of annoying coworkers, alcoholic-friends, crowded parties, and intrusive thoughts the greatest light to ever find, could only be your personal angelic guardian. But how much can a hypothetical ethereal being make up for the damaged mind of one man?
