After Lorraine Warren defeated Valak, everyone believed the demon nun was finally gone. But evil like that does not disappear so easily. Still lurking in the shadows, Valak returns with one goal in mind: revenge. Not against Lorraine or Ed. But against their sixteen-year-old son, Daniel Warren. After he interfered with Valak's plan of trying to kill his father and saving Janet Hodgson from falling to her death during the terrifying events at the Hodgson Residence, he became something dangerous to the demon: a problem. By stepping in, Daniel changed everything. Now Valak has turned its attention towards him. As chilling visions, whispered voices, and haunting apparitions begin to tear at Daniel's mind, he starts to question what is real and what is not. With fear closing in from every side, even his own thoughts no longer feel safe. But just when the darkness threatens to consume him completely, something holy reaches back.
