This collection of 50 poems is my tribute and celebration of the my country , The Philippines. A beautiful and verdant country and its ever resilient people. To be honest my liking of poetry has been tempered by events in my life especially my health. My job had also taken a toll of my mental powers. But upon seeing the happenings of my country and watching videos admiring how great and resilient the people of the Philippines is, I decided why not make a poetry collection about my country. The greatness and the flaws of my beloved Philippines. And so this poetry collection was created to give tribute to my country, The pearl of the orient, may she weather any storm and be resilient for all eternity. Once there they meet interesting characters and do end up changing quite a few things. Most of this probably will not be historically accurate. Please do not complain or say I am wrong. This is just a story not real life so let it be.
