This collection of 50 poems is my tribute and celebration of the my country , The Philippines. A beautiful and verdant country and its ever resilient people. To be honest my liking of poetry has been tempered by events in my life especially my health. My job had also taken a toll of my mental powers. But upon seeing the happenings of my country and watching videos admiring how great and resilient the people of the Philippines is, I decided why not make a poetry collection about my country. The greatness and the flaws of my beloved Philippines. And so this poetry collection was created to give tribute to my country, The pearl of the orient, may she weather any storm and be resilient for all eternity. Abigail, Hannah and Chrissy are time travelers for a living. They work for a secret agency to monitor time to make sure not events are changed. Join them as they go back to the American Revolution. Once there they meet interesting characters and do end up changing quite a few things. Most of this probably will not be historically accurate. Please do not complain or say I am wrong. This is just a story not real life so let it be.

Along with new young superheroes Eli Bradley and Miles Morales. A dangerous wave of threats in Harlem caused by Baron Mordo and the Americops are teaming up for New World Order. The Crew must band together and save the community from the enemy's wrath. All rights belong to Disney, Sony and Marvel Entertainment. I don't own anything.

ENTRY FOR _ONCE_UPON 2018 HOLIDAYS CONTEST FIRST PLACE WINNER This story is based off of two dolls I had as a child. Felicity Merriman and Elizabeth Cole from the 'American Girl Doll' company. They were physical dolls that had a historical book series that they were placed in. In this short story, ten year old me travels back into their story time to experience their trials with them.

❝ READY, SET TIME TO BE A FIGHTER ❞

Lafayette is a young Major General in the Continental Army fighting for American freedom from Great Britain. His father was killed by the British when he was only two years old. Hellbent on avenging his father as well as securing freedom for the Americans, the young Marquis finds himself working side-by-side with General George Washington, with whom he greatly admires. Despite his young age, Lafayette proves to be a very capable leader in battle and soon becomes one of Washington's closest confidants. Amidst all out war, their friendship grows into something much more. They must keep their relationship at a distance and develop a complicated system of correspondence while away from each other. It isn't easy and often causes strain in their relationship. Despite this, their fiery love for one another prevails.

"My name is Brack. This merry little band I have here with me - we call ourselves the Scarlet Patriots. We fight to liberate all those who have been enslaved. And two of you, my friends...are enslaved." He paused, letting his words sink in. "'Enslaved by who?', you might ask. But that's the wrong question. It's not who... it's what." He took a moment and ominously stared at all the distressed villagers knelt before him. "The answer is... magic. Two of you here used to be members of the Order of the Chosen. You left the order following some weird revelation and have decided to pursue this secret pacifist life. I wasn't given all the details and, quite frankly, I couldn't give a spot of dung what they are! I'm here to do a job! A job that will be simple and sweet." He drew a dagger from his cloak and twirled it, menacingly. "The two of you who possess magic will step forward and surrender yourselves to me or else...people are going to start dying."

'My story is not about patriotism, neither is it about how tough the freedom struggle was, nor is it about the freedom fighters. This is simply the story about a child. A child, who was eager to know about his father. How he died seemed to be a question which was forbidden to be answered.'

A war has broken out. I was scared and terrified. My mother's words had came true...... I hadn't even completed my bachelors degree and my sister was just in 9 class...... Looks like would have to become young fighters with no or less chance of survival..... Our army wanted this to happen and they were our enemy and we the force of change ........ We had to defeat them before they put full martial law on our country.... The time is running....and we have to fight...................... Cause in their eyes we were the traitors and they the patriots............
