Patrochilles Stories

This is my spin-off of The Song of Achilles. Set in the modern era, Achilles and Patroclus meet under the incidents of politics, business, and pride. Will their parents keep them apart for appearance? Will their parents play any part in their lives? Will their love save them this time? Or will it cause destruction again? Are they still doomed? It will be a very similar story to The Song Of Achilles plot wise, especially in the beginning. It will get better, though, I promise. Credits to Madeline Miller, writers of the illiad, and those random people on pinterest for ideas. Also this leans a little Hamilton so sorry in advance I suck at descriptions, sorry.

Patroclus and Achilles have been attached at the hip since second grade, when Patroclus' abusive father went on a vacation without him, and left him in the hands of Peleus, an old family friend. Now in their senior year of high school, emotions are dealt with, fathers are douchebags, and tragic events transpire.

Achilles is dropped off at summer camp once again. he was getting sick and tired of camping here every year, especially since he know exactly what happens and in what order. he had been coming here since 3rd grade. Patroclus had been dropped off only moments before, and walked into complete chaos called camp trojans. their where many, many boys with only a few girls. all is well until their silly archery instructor, 'accidently' hits patroclus with an arrow. (I think cupid is roman, but it works) (Edit: cupids greek counterpart is Eros so im using him.)

Patroclus is being brought back to Achilles's tent, seriously injured after fighting with Hector. He has a very few days left, until he dies. Achilles must do something. Can the god of the sun help Patroclus? And if he does what must Achilles do for it?

Rather than sending young Patroclus to Phthia, Menoetius sold his son to sex traffickers instead - but yet, Patroclus still found himself under Peleus' rule. In a world where Patroclus is Achilles concubine instead of a best friend, the two grow up very differently than from what we are used to. Amongst assassination attempts, a war, and other obstacles, the boys learn to love another and explore their relationship. But is love enough, when everyone else is against them?

A short -but hopefully pleasant- story inspired form Madeline's Miller book The song of Achilles. Anyone who hasn't read the book i wouldn't recommend reading this as there are spoilers involved. this is a story completely based/ inspired from the talented writer. hope you enjoy it!
