Achilles stirred, and reached out instinctively, finding the warmth of Patroclus beside him. Panic flared momentarily, replaced by a wave of relief as he saw his 'friendly' affair fast asleep, his chest rising and falling rhythmically. The night they spent together last night felt different, with more tension than usual. There was a charged awareness, a touch that sent shivers down his spine, a whispered secret shared under the cloak of night. Shame mingled with longing within him, a bittersweet reminder of the forbidden love they shared. Rankings as of February 14th: #1 in forbiddenlove (of 38 stories) #3 in trojan (of 131 stories) #3 in trojanhorse (of 18 stories) And finally, our best ranking (in terms of amount of stories compared)... #13 in affairs! A short -but hopefully pleasant- story inspired form Madeline's Miller book The song of Achilles. Anyone who hasn't read the book i wouldn't recommend reading this as there are spoilers involved. this is a story completely based/ inspired from the talented writer. hope you enjoy it!

Something is off about him...reports of werewolves roam the area and one fate full night Patroclus finds himself right in-front of one. It reminds him of the same wolf that saved him from death when he was only 9...what was he going to do?

In which the Fates cursed Achilles into watching his other half, Patroclus, dying right before his eyes, over and over. No matter how many times they'd been reincarnated. No matter how many lifetimes Achilles had lived to fight for something he thought the both of them deserved: a happy ending.

Achilles, son of the King Peleus and goddess Thetis, is pressured to be the best. Patroclus is a no one, exiled and adopted into the kingdom of Myrmidons, and is the loving companion of Achilles. However, when Thetis tests their love, they fight for each other. What will happen in the end? Will they get to hold each other close?

THERE IS A BIT OF SWEARING. This is the ship between Patroclus and Achilles of The Illiad. I still ship Achilles and Briseus but I thought these were funny and wanted to put them here. If you don't like the ship you don't have to read. None of the stuff is mine, I just thought some people might want to see it. There is also a little other stuff sprinkled throughout it. Again, the art and stuff is not mine.

Why do people die? It is neither in the hands of Patroclus, Briseis, the fates, or destiny. Yet when the darkness encompasses, one has only his closest comrade to blame.

Ancient Greece. The age of heroes. The violent, destructive outpouring of the Trojan war. A reimagined ending. And something softer, budding beneath the blood-soaked soil, a love between the great war hero Achilles and shy, awkward Patroclus. A death undone. An ending that was cut too bluntly. A new hope. After Patroclus kills a son of Priam and Troy is conquered, Patroclus and Achilles can return to life in Phthia. But something has changed; and between disapproving Thetis , arranged marriages, and confusion from onlookers, Achilles and Patroclus have new wars to face. Torn between love and fear of the truth, the men are forced to navigate their new lives; as war heroes in the conquest of Troy. (Please keep in mind some details will be inaccurate to the original Iliad as I've had to reimagine an ending for the Trojan war (without the wooden horse.) I have read the Iliad and taken classics classes so hopefully it will be as accurate as I can make it! I'm also going off Madeline Millers "The Song of Achilles" of course, and my characters are taken from there, not the original Illiad. This is also the first ever fic I've written!)
