Patsy Embera is the daughter of an inventor who invented a (malfunctioning) teleportation device. Briina Sandra-Lee is the best friend who persuades Patsy to be "more like her mom" and fix the malfunctioning device. Patsy and Briina are the duo that accidentally sends themselves halfway across the world to the Mushroom Kingdom.

This is a two part story that basically shows what could have happened to Patelia . Warning this is quite dark!

The world is filled with treasure. Not all of that 'inside your heart' mushy type treasure. But real treasure. Jewels and gold and riches. Those who search for these treasures are called Charlatans. If you can find any of the treasure, you will become famous and will be treated with respect. You will have all the riches you could need (or so they say) and any of your desires. If you not in it for the reward, some are in it for the adventure. The chase. Or because someone asked them to.

The fight for a woman's heart will be the most difficult one he ever had to fight. All seems well as Lazlo recovers in the hospital after the trecherous hike with Edward, until a certain mongoose decides to put on the Candy Striper uniform and help her beloved heal.
