Ayane Kitayama is an ex-leader of an infamous gang called the Black Hearts in Death City. She's never lost a fight– except to some doctor with a screw in his head. She made a deal that if he won, she'd attend the DWMA. Being a woman of her word, she started immediately. She becomes fast friends with the main gang of Soul Eater and even finds herself a good weapon named Kentaro. But, will she be of any use to the DWMA? 15 years after the breaking out of the Kishin, the DWMA starts to experience disappearances and murders that might just tie back to the historical battle. When Mae, a two star weapon of 17, experiences this first hand, she is forced to find a new meister and investigate. Black blood is shed, hearts are broken, and mistakes are made.. How will she cope?

She'll be perfectly fine though, thanks to the weapon genes she unlocked from Spirit Albarn. Still Soul can help but feel completely useless. Meanwhile Black*Star is starting to question his "friend" relationship with Tsubaki, after all he's the man that will surpass God. Liz and Patti begin to fantasize about their "perfect" guy, and while a certain OCD Grim Reaper believes he's perfectly happy on his own. At the same time though Death the Kid tries to find something in this world to protect like a Shinigami should. Basically there's alot of confusion........So when Maka returns nearly 3 years later with the most powerful witch the DWMA has ever encountered, and her two, non-magical, brothers. Questions will be answered. Blood will be spilled. Blue-haired assassins will grow taller. Scythe meisters will have curves. OCD boys will be kicked in the crotch. Sctythe weapons will nosebleed. Witches will sing. Angels will seduce. Weapons will fall in love. And most importantly......Soul Eater will be just as awesome.
