A teenage Paul Matthews is forced by his school to watch a musical. While there he meets a girl who is equally annoyed about being there. See how their friendship grows after a few fated encounters. AU until about chapter 5 when it merges with the musical.

A fanfiction about The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals. What if Paul wasn't fully infected by the end of the musical? What if he managed to take back control for a moment and he was able to save Emma? That's basically what this fanfiction is about.

Paul has been visiting Beanies everyday rather than the usual Starbucks once he's introduced to the rather cute barista over there. The long walk and god-awful coffee had always been worth it in the end. Seeing her was always the highlight of his day, even if she didn't know it. There was just something about Emma Perkins that always left him speechless. An idea of what Paul and Emma could've been had the meteor never hit. Featuring a group of absolute dumbasses.

My last description of this was what I planned and what didn't happen, because my little mini stories got real dark. So here we are, little short stories that take place in Hatchetfield. Enjoy.
