In the kingdom of Panem, District 12's prince, Peeta Mellark, is of age to become king. He must present himself to all the land in order to find a suitable princess to marry before time runs out. Meanwhile, Katniss Everdeen, a poor Seam girl, is trying to survive. She continuously does illegal work to keep her family safe and feed while her father is away and working as a guard in the palace. Peeta begins his search for his future wife and ends up bumping into the one and only Katniss Everdeen. He cannot hold back his breathe while she only wants to let hers go. What becomes of the prince and the pauper as their family duties and young adult lives push and pull them apart? Who will break the barriers of their hearts? Will Peeta find a suitable wife before he loses it all? Will Katniss allow herself to grow or will she hide in the shadowy hole in her heart forever? But this story is also about a boy who has a lot more secrets than he lets on, his life looks perfect, but like always it's not. It turns out she doesn't really know him as well as she thinks she does. The two run into each other, and their secrets start to unravel. will they still be able to accept each other once they know the truth. From two different worlds, this isn't another cinderella story. Oh and did I mention he's a prince? How could a street orphan and a Prince ever be able to make this work? Watch how a girl who has nothing but family, and a boy who has everything but one, meet. When moving to the United States, they bought a mansion deep in the woods, so out of view that Pauper almost had to walk two miles to reach her home. Everyday, she was teased because of her name. Everyone at school assumed she had no money. When walking home, they saw her walk the trail towards the woods, presuming she lived in some log. "Pauper", they say, "make yourself useful and find some food in the trash for you to eat," Her low tolerance and patience overwhelms her each day, but going home to her ballet studio makes everything seem okay. Theá, the heir to the kingdom of L.O.V.E. (Land of V.E.) finds a very handsome pauper who is able to woo the Princess with their charms and good looks. However, when the kingdom's at risk, and in need for the Princess to marry a rich and wealthy lover, Theá will need to decide which path to take; to give up the Kingdom and sacrifice her life to be with her soulmate, or sacrifice her unbreakable love of the handsome pauper for the Kingdom and save the monarchy by marrying a rich and royal partner.
