Have you ever heard of "Pavlov's Dog" experiment? It's all about retraining the brain - reacting a specific way to a certain stimulus. Take for example, the stimulus were someone taking a swipe at your head. One of two basic instincts occur: take cover and hide - or fight back. As a professional female boxer, my instinct is to fight back - it's part of the job description. But conditional training has rewired my brain to be ready for a fight whenever I hear my favorite band, Fall Out Boy. So you better believe I listen to them on repeat before a match. My advantage puts me on the map, and my growing spotlight seems to attract a particular member of the band. But what happens when not only my brain gets rewired, but my heart as well? Patrick loved two things in this world; music and getting inside people's heads. Patrick wanted to study music at college. His family told him to study psychology. So he was studying psychology. It might not have been his first preference, but psychology wasn't that bad half the time. Especially considering it laid out the blueprints on how to make anybody to fall in love with you. And Patrick had his heart set on the cute guy who ate dinner with him, and really loved those cookies given out with every meal.

This is my college speech outline. I had a speech class and had the opportunity to choose the topic for my speech. I had quite a bit of fun connecting dots with what is shown in the game with science, psychology, and ideas. I wanted to post it here and share my findings. As someone who struggles with picking up on symbolism but am fascinated by what can be told through it, I hope this helps others with understanding the game in a deeper sense. Also, while I was writing this, one of my sources disappeared (likely the address was bought out) and with the lack of college papers on the game, I thought I'd make one myself. I may or may not do more research depending on if I'm still fixated on it enough to nerd out.

Hasta que de repente, la pasión y el deseo incontrolable se vuelve fuente de una serie de sucesos que cambiará la vida de Dita y su visión de la vida, el amor y el mundo.
