fallon xiao was like anyone else living in the greater los angeles area: a normal person waiting for their chance to become extraordinary. she had big dreams of becoming a musician, going on tours, and becoming extremely famous. of course, most days these dreams just felt like a meek overshot, but that was never enough to make her give up. she had a vision and no one would be getting in the way of that. after a particularly sour break up with one of the most popular guys in school, fallon learned some hard lessons. she knew there could no longer be any distractions. there could be no one getting in her way and deterring her from what she really wanted. paxton was never looking for a relationship, just the next person to make him a little less lonely for a dwindling amount of time. he had never thought of himself as a boyfriend, rather a pit stop. he was never looking for someone to call his girlfriend. however, once seated next to a girl during a second attempt at his facing history class, everything changed. the only problem would be figuring out how to care for each other when neither thought it would ever be a possibility.

Mirabell moves to her two cousins who are living in San Fernando Valley and now is the new girl in Sherman Oaks High. She loves posting on Instagram and tries to use the move as an opportunity to have a fresh start and be fully herself.
