Paya's mother, Laio, moved out to Hateno village when Paya was ten, taking her sister with her. Paya begged to go, but her mother said she had to stay with Impa. Paya's father died before she was born, and she just got word that her mother died. That leaves her sister still a little kid, vulnerable and alone. At only eighteen, Paya will have to get up her courage, talk to her crush link, find her ten-year-old sister, become a brave Sheikah Warrior, and one day take over Kakariko. ~Having returned after two years, I decided to edit The Heroes' Rebirth. I changed (hopefully) all of the spelling errors, fixed the grammar and changed some of the sequences of events. After Hyrule rests from its 100 year battle against Calamity Ganon, Zelda decides to attend a school far away to become a scholar, in the hopes of distracting herself from the guilt she feels from her past failures. Leaving Link behind who is struggling to fully regain his memories, using becoming a chef to occupy him from his burdens as well. These two soon discover being apart was a dreadful mistake, still being unable to heal, or escape from the gruesome wounds of their past. Throughout his many travels, Link, the courageous hero of the wild finds solace within the beautiful Kakariko Village. It is here that he meets a beautiful, young, although shy woman named Paya. A difference of upbringing thrusts Paya into a world that she does not understand as she gradually begins to take interest in the legendary hero through his acts of bravery and heroism.

Through Hyrule's history, it has always been about a princess and her knight. What no one knows is there's always a third. A friend. A helper. May it be a boy, a kind elderly companion, a dog, or something else-the knight always has a partner. It has been this way for centuries, since the goddess took pity on the knight's heavy burden, they always grant a companion that perfectly matches what the knight needs. This time, the knight, Link, has awoken from the Shrine of Resurrection. He comes across a girl on the Great Plateau, one who appeared out of no where and has simply been tasked with aiding Link. But when they meet, it feels like they are forced together, much to both of their dislike. What happens when Link and his chosen aid don't connect? Will they ever get closer?
