So I found this post on Pinterest with a task for writers: "Write a short story based on a song of your choise. the catch is you must use every single lyric of the song in your story somehow" And I've always felt sort of inspired to write a bachground story to "payphone by Maroon5" - so this is it. It is about a guy that travels the world after school. He actually planned on leaving with his girlfriend until she got an acceptence letter for her dream-University. So he left alone and shares his trip with her...at least he tries to.

They'd been co-workers for as long as Scott could remember. Scott always thought of Vincent as some creepy, strange, flirty - albeit absolutely gorgeous - guy from his job. Possibly even friends, nothing more than that. They'd occasionally joke around with each other, and Scott would even allow Vincent to flirt with him sometimes. He knew already what Vincent had done - he was a murderer. However, he didn't know just how much damage his friend had been doing to himself, and others around him.
