Readers need to know who all the dragons are, where the Isle of Young is in relation to the rest of the Four Realms, who Ulfgar is, and what happened to the bitten submarine in the story of the same name. ideally this would involve some backtracking and reading a good number of my earlier books, if you haven't already, so that you get the background knowledge. All my stories are intertwined and enmeshed with each other and in this tale especially, such enmeshing is essential to understanding what is happening and why. This story includes a character struggling with extreme mental ill health.
