Island Peak (6189m) is also known as Imja Tse, which is situated in the Everest region on the top of Chukung Glacier between the Ama Dablam and Lhotse Himalayan range. It is a gorgeous and comparatively less challenging NMA (Nepal Mountaineering Association) authorized trekking peak.
