This is a novel I wrote for my English class. I wanted to know what it deserves so I share it with you today! It's my first novel so be understanding ;) This story deals with the past of Max Kingston who's telling his story in the Pearl Harbor to his grandchildren

The war is over but now with the fighting done questions must be answered. Captain James Stevenson has been assigned to find out why Japan attacked Pearl Harbor. Bonnie doesn't like being confined and she fully intends to ignore the orders to limit contact with the Japanese. Stevenson's translator Tanaka Hibiki is forced to discover what Japan has done and to bear the weight of losing a war. The object of this book is to show what led to Pearl Harbor and what life was like in post war Japan.

"Please, do not let me die," we tried to encourage them even though we knew we could do nothing for them. Minutes later the second bombing fell near the hospital, some doctors sent nurses to the front door to separate patients, on the right those who could be saved, in the middle those who had serious wounds and burns, and left those who had deceased, we had to mark them with the initials of what they needed, some with the pain of my soul we could not mark them, I was one of those managers.

Kenneth is a young teen boy full of opportunity and motivation to improve himself. However, to get to where he wants to be he must continue his job working as a janitor/custodian on many of the ships in the Pearl Harbor military base. Every day has been the same for him, cleaning the ship's decks and attending to dirty messes, except for one brutal day which started the Morning of December 7th, 1941.

WWII was a cruel and trying time and learning about it is undoubtedly important. But I think that learning the things left in the dark are just as important as learning what's spoken. "History is written by the victors." This is so true. What about their crimes of war? Why are they glossed over? What about those poor children who were experimented on? The bombing of Japan?
