She needs to protect her sister, no matter what she has to sacrifice. Even her friends. Lapis has a deadly secret to keep, one that gives her even more of a reason to be her family's enemy number one. Amethyst has been unwanted, abused, and betrayed. And she's nit ready to let that go so easily. And then there's Peridot. She could pull the strings on these girls. But she has more pressing matters to attend to. These girls have one thing in common. They're all likely targets. The enemy? Their own friends and family. Technically speaking, this book isn't rated mature, but it's definitely 13+ for language, violence, and subject matter.

Peridot frantically looks for her escort and informant unprepared in The Kindergarten. She soon meets up with an unpleasant surprise, and with more to follow. All these situations and 'friends' are seeming to be distracting her from what is, or will be, really important. A Pearl x Peridot Fanfiction. I find the ship cute. May ((Obviously)) involve drama. Duh. Pearl and Peri make drama classes seem like nothing. What am I even talking about? This is a great description isn't it?

Despite what the title suggests, this story is about the growing bond between human and gem. "...There are millions of stars in the sky right now, we just can't see them because of the sheer brightness of the sky and atmosphere..." "...All those stars are like possibilities, and your logical thinking is like the atmosphere - too prominent to see them."

This story is about Peridot. A homeschooled girl who is now attending her first year at Crystal Prep, an extremely fancy school with lesser-than-fancy people. During her time here, she realizes she has feelings for multiple of her friends, causing drama for the most of the year. At this school, she meets some of the best and worst people she'll ever meet. This is going to be a CRAZY one. It'll be one with multiple Peridot ships, just to make all you crazy shippers and shippets happy.

Peridot is still new to the whole being a crystal gem thing so she seeks Pearl for comfort.
