The Crystal Gems are a team of magical beings who are the self-appointed guardians of the universe. Half-human, half-Gem hero Steven is the "little brother" of the group, and though he gradually learns how to use the powers that come from his forehead gem, he's constantly living in the shadow of his mother and leader of the Gem Rebellion, Pearl. Thankfully, he has his adoptive family, maternal Rose Quartz, stoic Garnet, and inquisitive Amethyst, and he also has his best friend, rebellious teenage Connie, to aid him through his adventures. ~A selection of episodes I've rewritten for my crazy Roulette AU, in which character personalities are switched around with no apparent order! Inspired by JUST BE CONSCIOUS by Shujinkakusama and SmugLemon. Also by the TENSION RESOLUTION chapter in my Pearlnet one-shot book. Pearl Takemitsu is a Japanese college student studying in America who is also working part-time at a local coffee bar where she gets a decent pay. She meets Garnet Deanne who she knew looked familiar. All too familiar... And they knew they had met at a McDonald's establishment in Tokyo when Garnet visited Japan with her parents how many years ago when they were too little to remember the details. But the Deanne mothers did cuz little Garnet continuously spoke detail by detail. They played and got lost together at a young age. And they were separated for years. And... Met each other again on ambivalent terms. Will their encounter grow well for them?

I wrote this for Valentine's Day without much of a plan when it came down to what to write- so I apologize now if it sucks. It was originally written as a Pearl x Female! Reader, but I didn't use any specific pronouns addressing the reader, so it doesn't really matter.

~Steven Universe highschool/human AU~ ~Main will be Rupphire with under laying ships~ Things were simple. Wake up, get ready, go to school, don't be noticed, do well, come home, do homework, go to bed, repeat. Really it was that simple for Sapphire. Of course there would be small jumps in the routine. For example, she would be noticed, she wouldn't have any homework, she might not do well that day, or she would be noticed. Bullies are a prominent thing in all schools. There was the social standing, of course there were bullies. The head of them all at Homeworld High, was Jasper Fear (a fitting name considering how much fear she drilled into others). Then Jasper had her 'squad' they did her crap, and are what most people would call, friends. Amethyst Smalls, Milky Quartz and Ruby Valentine. Of course someone like Sapphire Wind and Ruby Valentine would never really mix, right?

After the reader moves to her new secluded house, she expects everything to go smoothly. A steady job, a great life, no worries at all. Once the reader is settled in, she decides to go explore her new surroundings. But her whole life gets turned around after finding a Small orange Gemstone in a smoking crater near her house. (Based off a female main character, but theres no gender told in the story)
