Pearl is still having some issues with moving on from Rose, but she finds some comfort in a rather unlikely way. She has a conversation with Amethyst, and realizes that maybe she's not as alone as she thought she was. They talk about their feelings, albeit a little awkwardly at some moments, and reaffirm that, hey, they're good enough being themselves. Then later on, Pearl realizes something else; something constantly reaffirmed by the thoughts and memories replaying in her mind.
