THE LIFE OF A PEASANT. I GO WHERE NO PERSON HAS GONE BEFORE IN OBSERVING THE PEASANT WE KNOW AS CW

Nicholas' POV Nich wakes up in his room, his room was bigger than four villagers' houses combined so it took him a while to reach the balcony on the other side of his well kept, stereotypical, bedroom. He pulls back the silk curtains blocking him from the city that he will soon rule. As soon as he pulled back the curtains, the sunlight poured in and filled his room. He stepped onto the balcony and peered down at the busy villagers cluttering the gravel roads he chuckles at the sight of the lively city. But with all good things in the Kingdom of Fire and Ice, there's bound to be bad. (Just in case so you people don't get confused) Nick's POV Nick wakes up in an alleyway again. He's hiding from those annoying guards. It's not his fault he can't afford to buy food! To him, It's either Kill or be Killed. NO HE DIDNT KILL ANYONE!! He steals for a living. It's not all bad though, he has his "loving" sister and childhood friend to care for him. "Nick! There you are I was about to check the dungeon and rid of those troublesome a guards for you again!" Haley whisper-shouts. "Oh so now you care?" Nick questions. "DUH YOU IMBECILE" She screams just loud enough for the guards to hear. "shit" Nick mumbles, hearing the guards running toward his current location. Nataly swoops in just in time. Nat rushes them behind a building and using their stealth and experience to climb up the building without leaving a trace of their existence. That was close. A wave of relief fell over the group, Nick knew this was too good to be true, Nick blacks out and falls off the building onto the crowd of guards waiting for him. Yes, now this was something bound to happen.

Zhao Lian is a sheriff without a county. A member of an old magical order called the Shuli Go, she was raised to uphold the law and protect her fellow citizens. But after her order was disassembled, she was left with no choice but to wander in search of work for someone with her very particular set of skills. A single kick can change lives and destroy families. Lian knows this, but that doesn't stop her from delivering one. Four years later all the ramifications of that kick will come back to haunt her and her own fledgling family. They are soon drawn into a fight with a band of outlaws, led by another powerful magic user, and into the path of a young woman's long-simmering rage. This fifth story brings a wider scope to these stories, and hopefully adds a bit more nuance to the world. It also lays out some of the themes, conflicts, and motivations for future stories.
