A short story based on the 6 Miss Peregrine's home novels, from my character's view, including mystery about her background, feeding on the aftermath of the war, and 'a little help from friends' to after settling in, make it feel like home. /The current timeline takes place two months after the loop's restauration./ A soul. How could one possibly comprehend its meaning, when it can slip through your fingers anytime? I was a kid when i first experienced something like that. It was just a tiny butterfly, a small spark of beauty in the sunlight, torn into ashes in my palm the moment its legs landed on my skin. My mom was a kind person, and tried to help me hide as much as i could. She handmade me two gloves out of animal skin, which were the only things that gave me an average life. Little did i know it would be the nemesis of average.

After the bloody battle, the Peculiardom seemed to recover their peace. Miss Peregrine and her wards decides to stay in Jacob's home, in Florida. But peace only lasted one week. Now the second battle is about to begin.

Instead she finds herself resenting the journey she finds herself on, and fears her life is finally spiraling out of control. And even Millard is at a loss at what to do to help. Soon they both have the same horrible thought: What are the odds they will both survive such dangers twice? Mathematically speaking, not good.
